For Authors

From manuscript to global audience — in four steps.

A transparent process, a fair fee structure, and a decision measured in weeks, not seasons.

01

Submit

Upload your manuscript through our online portal, choosing the journal that best fits your field.

02

Peer Review

Two independent reviewers assess your work for rigor and contribution. Average first decision: 3–4 weeks.

03

Decision & Revision

You receive clear, actionable feedback — accept, minor revision, major revision, or decline, with reasons.

04

Publish & Narrate

Your paper is typeset, assigned a DOI, and narrated by a professional voice artist — published in both formats together.

Preparing Your Manuscript

Formatting guidelines

  • Manuscripts accepted in English, 3,000–8,000 words including references.
  • Structured abstract of 150–250 words with 4–6 keywords.
  • APA 7th edition referencing style throughout.
  • Tables and figures numbered sequentially with clear captions.
  • A short author bio (2–3 sentences) for use in your audio narration introduction.
  • Ethical approval statement included for studies involving human or animal subjects.

Why we ask for an author bio

Every audio narration opens with a brief introduction of the author and their institution — giving your name, and your country's research, a voice on the global stage.

Our commitment

Your budget should never decide whether your research gets seen. Every Edutellect journal offers a fee-waiver and installment option for researchers in low- and middle-income countries.

Author Fees

Transparent, and built for you.

Edutellect is open access — articles and their audio narrations are free for anyone to read, hear, and cite. Publication is supported by a single Article Processing Charge (APC), payable only after acceptance.

  • No submission fee, ever. You only pay if your paper is accepted.
  • Article Processing Cost is $150, which is a fraction of typical Western open-access publisher rates.
  • Full and partial fee waivers available for researchers in low-income economies.

Publication Ethics

Rigor you can trust.

Edutellect follows internationally recognized standards for research integrity.

Double-Blind Review

Author and reviewer identities remain confidential throughout the review process.

Plagiarism Screening

Every submission is checked against a similarity index before entering review.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Authors, reviewers, and editors declare any competing interests before publication.
